Stockholm Surfboard Club and RHC have teamed on "Black Beach," a special-order capsule that pairs the Swedish label's surf sensibility with Ron Herman's clean house style. Built out as one of SSC's largest assortments to date, the collection spans four core pieces and centers on a detail the brand has never altered before: its signature icon tag, here rendered in navy.

The logos do the design work. The capsule is built around three of the signature logos SSC has carried and preserved over the years, applied piece by piece so that each garment gets the mark best suited to its character rather than a single logo stamped across the range. That approach runs through all four styles, from the cap and back logo tee to the polo shirt and hooded shirt, the latter two representing the kind of pieces that have become popular signatures of SSC in recent seasons.

The headline detail is smaller but more significant.
