Unveiled at Geneva Watch Days 2026, Zenith has expanded its iconic Chronomaster collection with the release of the Chronomaster Solo Sport. Marking a historic departure for the El Primero line, the new model distills five decades of high-frequency expertise into a versatile, three-hand format freed from traditional chronograph sub-dials.

Housed in a 40mm stainless steel case measuring a balanced set of proportions, the timepiece features a unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel flanked by dynamic crown protectors. The ceramic dial - offered in sunray white, polished black, or polished brown - serves as the visual anchor, engraved with an exclusive repeated 45-degree "Z" motif designed to represent the rhythm and vibration of the high-frequency calibre beneath. The dial display is framed by a historical "shark tooth" minute track along its periphery, Super-LumiNova SLN C1 faceted indices, and a star-counterweighted central seconds hand. Engineered for active lifestyle wear, the case is equipped with a screw-down crown delivering a robust 20 ATM water resistance rating.

Under the hood beats the in-house automatic El Primero 3620 caliber, derived directly from the El Primero 3600 movement. Operating at 36,000 vph the movement incorporates a silicon escapement, a stop-seconds mechanism, a new star-shaped openworked rotor, and a 60-hour power reserve. The watch comes fitted with a three-link stainless steel bracelet featuring Zenith’s newly developed ZENCLASP, an ergonomic folding clasp composed of 41 components and 10 ceramic locking balls that offers a tool-free micro-adjustment mechanism in 2.5mm increments up to 10mm. Available worldwide via Zenith, the date models are priced at $10,900 USD, while a purist-focused no-date black version is offered at $9,800 USD.
