Nike ACG has officially introduced the Nike ACG Picklejus, a pinnacle trail-running silhouette purpose-built for ultra-endurance big-mountain races. Developed through the Nike Sport Research Lab (NSRL), the sneaker is engineered to handle 100-plus-mile distances with a balanced focus on uphill efficiency and downhill impact protection.
The silhouette debuts Nike’s first co-molded, dual-density supercritical foam platform for trail running. A soft central ZoomX core delivers impact absorption, surrounded by a firmer ZoomX perimeter stability ring that provides plate-like support across technical terrain. Underfoot, the shoe introduces GOATEK, ACG’s proprietary outsole platform engineered to deliver 45% more traction on wet surfaces and 25% greater abrasion resistance compared to previous all-terrain Nike outsoles.
Upper construction utilizes trail-tuned Flyknit reinforced with adaptive containment cables and hydrophobic yarns to limit water absorption. A gaiter-inspired high collar secures the ankle and prevents trail debris from entering the shoe. Naming and aesthetic details nod to the cramp-relieving pickle juice used in ultra-running culture, featuring a pickle-inspired rocker profile and a bright acidic green debut colorway.
The Nike ACG Picklejus is scheduled to release in late 2027 via Nike and select retail locations.
